Guided ATV/UTV Tours Phoenix

Take an unforgettable guided ATV tour through Phoenix’s best scenery! Discover the beauty of Box Canyon by ATV.

The guided ATV Tour happens in Florence, Arizona. Which is about halfway between Tucson and Phoenix off of Highway 79 and Price Rd. Driving time from either city is approximately one hour. Our trail is about 3 hours. Along the guided ATV tour, your guide will point out petroglyphs left over from the ancient Native Americans.

Another point of interest is an old adobe building that served as a way station for the Butterfield Overland Stage Coach Company during the 1860s. For a short time, it also serviced the Pony Express on what was know as the “Butterfield Route.” The gem of the tour is Box Canyon. You are in a slot canyon with walls that are about 1,500 feet high on both sides and only about 15-20 feet apart in some places. The scenery is incredible and if your lucky you can see bighorn sheep scaling the Mountains!

Guided ATV Tours

Our experienced guides will take you to many different points of interest in the Sonoran Desert of Box Canyon during a 3-4hr tour.
Wildlife that may be seen includes coyotes, lizards, mountain goats, gila monster, tarantula, snakes, and free range cattle. The spring time is particularly beautiful during the desert bloom, where cacti flower in a rainbow of color.
The trip goes through the canyon with 100’ walls on either side. The area is rich in history dating back thousands of years and is filled with visible evidence including petroglyphs, and a number of abandoned mines including a staging depot.
While Jeep tours are offered by several guiding companies none of them are offered in Box Canyon.
The advantages of an UTV tour includes being able to experience a ride as a family, couple, or group of friends you can laugh and talk while riding together or choose to take separate vehicles.
